Greg has asked the Transport Minister to allow commuters affected by the forthcoming London Bridge closure to use their season tickets on the buses and underground.

Trains on the Hastings, Uckfield and Paddock Wood lines will all be affected. Charing Cross trains will not be stopping at London Bridge from January 2015 to August 2016.

Greg said:

"I am very concerned about the disruption that the rebuilding of London Bridge is going to have on rail travellers - for quite a long period of time no trains on the Hastings line will be stopping at London Bridge. I think it would be extremely unfair if, in these circumstances, rail passengers are expected to buy additional tickets for buses or the underground, especially when the cost of our rail fares is already so high. I have pressed the Transport Minister on this point and asked him to allow cross-ticketing."
