Campaign success on cross-ticketing for rail commuters

The Transport Minister has agreed with Greg's request to allow commuters affected by the forthcoming London Bridge closure to use their season tickets on both the buses and underground.

Greg said:

"I am delighted that the Rail Minister listened to my request to allow for cross-ticketing during this extensive period of disruption. I told her that it would be grossly unfair for commuters to have to buy tickets for the bus or tube to get back to where they wanted to go in the first place. The disruption will be very inconvenient but at least this will decision will help."

Trains on the Hastings, Uckfield and Paddock Wood lines will all be affected. Charing Cross trains will not be stopping at London Bridge from January 2015 to August 2016.
