A total of 130 properties around Horsmonden have have been given access to full fibre broadband following the completion of a Community Fibre Project supported by Greg.
Homes and businesses will benefit from gigabit broadband speeds after the last house in the project was hooked up to the £155,000 scheme last week.
The Community Fibre Project was established in 2020 by local resident Robin Black in order to improve the lamentable internet speeds for homes and businesses on the rural lanes in the Southern, Eastern and Northern fringes of the village.
Greg was asked to step in to help speed up delivery of the scheme following numerous numerous delays by Openreach.
Mr Black said: "The project to provide ultrafast broadband to the lanes of Horsmonden in the Southern, Eastern and Northern fringes of the village has now been completed. It was a rather protracted affair which required constant chasing up of the Openreach team. However, with considerable assistance from Greg and much forbearance from the 130 homes and businesses who signed up almost 18 months ago, it is now in place. We are a much happier and better-connected community!"
