Greg visited the annual Kent Apprenticeship Fair in Maidstone organised by seven West Kent Members of Parliament including Greg, Tom Tugendhat, Helen Grant, Helen Whately, Laura Trott, Tracey Crouch and Gordon Henderson.
This year the fair broke record numbers with over 1,800 students attending from schools across Kent, including Tunbridge Wells. Also attending were almost 70 companies from a range of industries, who were keen to educate attendees about the opportunities that apprenticeships present. This year, the fair also included the Kent Skills Bus where Greg was also able to learn about the fantastic work that they do.
Speaking on the event Greg said:
“ It was fantastic to see so many young people learning about all the options available to them and I hope that many were inspired and have taken key information to guide them through their next steps”
