Greg met up with Gatwick, NATS and the CAA last week to discuss the underwhelming impact the recently implemented Arrivals Review has had on reducing aircraft noise over the Tunbridge Wells area, which many constituents still believe to be too loud.
He said: "I met with Gatwick, NATS and the CAA to discuss the ongoing and unacceptable aircraft noise in our area, as the measures implemented from Gatwick’s Arrivals Review have not had anything close to the impact we hoped for. I made it clear that if Gatwick and the authorities cannot improve the situation then further measures must be taken – including the potential for specific flight restrictions above Tunbridge Wells.”
