Anyone struggling to get to their vaccination appointment, either because they are shielding and can't use public transport or need financial help can now utilise the rebooted Cabs for Jabs scheme run by the TW Community Car Service.
The scheme was set up at the start of the year as the vaccine rollout was getting underway - thanks to the effort of Tunbridge Wells Borough Councillors, Lance Goodship and Victoria White who set about fundraising and recently securing additional funding from Kent County Council to cover the cost of the car journeys.
The number for the scheme is 01892 511 627
