Greg to chair public meeting on aircraft noise with Gatwick's independent review team

Greg will be chairing a public meeting with the team leading Gatwick's independent review on Saturday 28 November at 10am in the Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells.

Greg said:

"Aircraft noise is of great concern to many local residents so I wanted to give them the chance to speak directly to Bo Redeborn who is leading Gatwick's Independent Review. I am delighted that he has agreed to come and listen to people's views."

Booking for this event is essential as seats are limited.

Anyone interested in attending should email: greg.clark.mp@parliament.uk

Gatwick has outlined the aims of its independent review as being to ensure that:

  • Everything that can reasonably be done to alleviate the problems identified is being done, whether this involves action by the airport or by the other parties most closely involved – National Air Traffic Service (NATS), Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the Department for Transport or the airlines
  • The approaches which Gatwick has adopted for providing information to the local community and for handling complaints are fully adequate for the task
