Greg presses owner of the old ABC cinema site to hurry up and sell the site

With no obvious progress on developing the old ABC cinema site in Tunbridge Wells, Greg has written to the Global Managing Director of the Carlyle Group to ask him to push forward the sale of the land.

Greg said:

"When the old ABC cinema was finally demolished last summer, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. But this optimism was short lived – we're now a year on and although Carlyle has put the site up for sale, there is still no sign of progress and the empty site continues to be a blight on the town.

"I told the Global Managing Director of Carlyle Group, based in the US, that the reputation of his company is being seriously damaged and asked for his personal intervention to ensure that the sale of this land takes place as quickly as possible."
