Greg opens new passenger lifts at Paddock Wood station

Greg was delighted to open new passenger lifts at Paddock Wood station, along with the Managing Director of Southeastern, David Statham.

A £1million investment in two new lifts makes the station step-free from the station entrance to both platforms. It means the station is fully accessible for the first time in its 170-year history.

Greg said:

"These new lifts are a significant improvement to the station facilities, which will make train travel accessible and more convenient for many local residents, especially people with disabilities, parents with buggies and passengers carrying heavy luggage."
