Greg launches British Science Week at The Skinners¬’ School

Greg visited Skinners' School in Tunbridge Wells to launch British Science Week. The School had arranged for a number of exciting workshops, led by representatives from industry, to try and inspire its students into studying science and technology subjects.

Greg said:

"I was delighted to be at Skinners' School to launch British Science Week. UK science is world beating and is going from strength to strength creating opportunities for a new generation of young scientists to enjoy fulfilling and brilliant careers. That means it's more important than ever that young people should have opportunities at school to be inspired and to develop a lifelong enthusiasm for science."

The event was coordinated by the education charity, STEMNET, which aims to encourage and inspire an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects and careers.
